I just lost [link] on Saturday the 19th. I didn't have the money to have her humanely euthanized and I had to watch her helplessly for a 4 hour period while she slowly died. I wasn't expecting her to die before my eyes.

She suffocated and there was nothing I could do. I didn't know what was happening and all I could do was to put my ear to her chest and listen to her heart. I heard it speed up and slow down, her breathing slowed to once every 10 seconds, then 15, then nothing. I could hear her heart and body begin to die. And, I can hear her heart nearly dead with a slight and muffled beat. A very slow beat. And, then nothing. It has been the most traumatic thing I have ever experienced in my life. I'm so FUCKING heart broken as I write this, because I can remember so vividly my feelings and experience of this helplessness. It's something I hope you never have to experience. Just the thoughts of the experience puts me completely back there. I had Girlie for 17 years. She was my Princess.

I'm having a difficult time keeping any sort of consistency with money coming in. If anyone can help me out with the costs of the cremation of Girlie and the associated bills that led up to her death, please send anything you can to my Paypal account at toddk2@hotmail.com. I need another $100 for that and my left over bills are an additional $400.
